SynapseIndia runs various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at empowering the economically weak people in society. Its most prominent CSR project, the International Chandramauli Charitable Trust, Varanasi, is focused on education of needful children. Shamit Khemka, the founder & Managing Director of SynapseIndia, is keen about giving back to society through various CSR programs.

The International Chandramauli Charitable Trust was founded with a vision of teaching yoga & meditation based on the ancient Indian way of living. The Trust is registered in India and U.K. Leaders at the Trust believe that education is extremely important for Indian children and that the western system of education was not enough. The Trust teaches children Vedic Sanskrit and Sanskrit grammar, and various other things related to ancient Indian culture.
