I did my first Undergraduate and Masters with Honours at Oxford University UK, in Metallurgy and the Science of Materials. After some years of working in the City in London and on Wall Street for American Investment Banks, I was on the hunt for something more meaningful in life. My search for a sense of inner fulfilment brought me to India. I left the city and the UK in 1999 with Brahmrishi Vishvatma Bawraji Maharaj, and stayed with him till his Samadhi. Swami Yoganand Parivrajak continued to teach me and I came to Varanasi in 2006 to embark on Traditional Sanskrit Studies at Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi. I completed the three year Praman Patriya in 18 months and started the Prachin Vyakaran (Ancient Sanskrit Grammar) Shastri course in 2008. I was honoured to be awarded the Gold Medal for the entire Shastri (BA equivalent) course and continued further studies in Prachin Vyakaran on the Acharya course (MA equivalent) where I was also top in my University class. I have been inspired by the Ancient Indian Traditions specifically Santana Dharma which include the Vedas, Yoga philosophy and Bharatiya Sanskriti. I have found that these support and show a way of leading a peaceful, conscious, truthful, knowledgeable, happy and sustainable life. I see it as my duty and mission to share this way of education and bringing together and supporting communities. Education means to bring out and we want children to be able to access good education irrespective of their caste, colour, creed or gender.
